Client Bank

The Client Bank page is where ASP users with appropriate security rights  can view, enter, or modify information about client banks. This page appears in read-only  mode if you have view only security rights to client banks or if the client bank is in use by another user.

The fields and controls specific to this page are described below.

Field/Control

Description

Client Bank Name*

The name of the client bank. This field can contain up to 35 characters and is required.

Address (Line 1)*

The first line of the client bank's address. This field can contain up to 35 characters and is required.

Address (Line 2)

The second line of the client bank's address. This field can contain up to 35 characters.

City*

The city of the client bank. This field can contain up to 23 characters and is required. The combination of City, Province/State, and Postal Code can not exceed 32 characters

Province / State

The name or code of the province or state of the client bank. This field can contain up to 8 characters.

Country*

The country of the client bank. To specify, select a country from the drop-down list.

Postal Code

The postal code of the  client bank. This field can contain 8 characters.

Phone Number

The main phone number of the  client bank. This field can contain 20 characters.

SWIFT Address

The two-part SWIFT (CCH) address of the  client bank. The first part of the SWIFT address can contain 11 characters and the second part of the SWIFT address can contain 3 characters.

Fax Number 1

The primary Fax number of the  client bank. This field can contain 20 characters.

Fax Number 2

The secondary Fax number of the  client bank. This field can contain 20 characters.

TPS Client Bank ID*

The TPS ID for the client bank. This field can contain 3 characters, is required, and must be entered exactly as it appears (including case) in the  back office system.

Default User

The default user for the client bank.  If you are creating the bank, this field may not be displayed, because there will be no existing users.

Branding

Branding Directory*

The directory on the application server where branding components, such as logo and style sheet files, are located. The Trade Services application uses the files in this directory to display custom-branded pages to users associated with this client bank. In addition, the application can be branded at the bank group level, by specifying a different branding directory on the Bank Group page.

The directory you specify here does not need to exist yet. When it is added to the application server, it will exist as a subdirectory of the main images directory. For more information, contact your system administrator.

Corporate Services

 

Corporate Services URL

The URL that users with security to access Corporate Services are directed to when the Corporate Services button is selected.

Options

 

Delete instruments from the database when purged in TPS

Selecting yes for this option will cause Trade Services system instruments, their related instruments and their related messages, to be purged when the instruments are purged in the TPS system.  For a new client bank, this is the default selection.   Selecting this option for an existing bank group will only cause Trade Services system instruments to be purged after this option is selected.

Allow Mobile Banking:

Controlled at System (ASP) Level

Controlled at Customer/User Level

Selecting the ‘No’ radio button will fully disable Mobile Banking under this Client Bank. Selecting the ‘Yes’ radio button will enable the selection between two options. Selecting ‘Controlled at system (ASP) level’ will automatically enable users under this Client Bank to have access to mobile banking. Selecting ‘Controlled at Customer/User Level’ will require the Corporate Customer and specific User to have mobile banking access enabled as well.

Allow Pre-Debit Notification access for Corporate Customers

Selecting yes for this option will provide corporate customers access to Pre-Debit Notification.

Validate additional ISO address fields

If selected the following ISO address fields will be designated as mandatory and edits will be performed if the fields are not populated. Enabling this setting will designate the additional ISO address fields as mandatory on all the screen including transaction screens where ISO address resides.

Allow Credit Limits and Utilization to be requested and displayed from TPS

Selecting yes for this option will allow a request be sent to TPS to retrieve credit limits and utilization for the Portal Customer.

Enable Administrative Update Centre, Session Sync and Limited Export Information Display

Selecting 'Yes' for this option will make the “Update Centre” available to the client bank as a whole. It will also indicate that Session Sync will be available. This setting drives the display of the setting 'Display Limited Current Terms and Transaction Summary Details for TPS Originated Export Transactions' on the Bank Group page.

Allow Blind Copy Emails

Selecting 'Yes' will cause the 'Blind Copy Bank Email Address' fields in the Bank Group settings to appear.

Enable Back Office Bank Customer Updates Blind Copy Emails

Selecting yes for this option will allow Bank Customers to be updated by the back office system.

Utilize Allowable Currency (Bank Group) and Restricted Currency (Customer) validation when creating new instruments and uploading invoices  Selecting "Yes" will enable and display the new setting at  Bank  group named as "Allowed currencies For Creating an   Instrument   and Allowed Currencies For Uploading New SRF   Invoices".
 Selecting "No" will hide these settings at Bank Group and also at   Customer Page.

Validate Bank Sort Codes for Trade Loans against Austrlian Bank State Branch Code List

If this setting is set to Yes,then when a Bank Sort Code is present on a Trade Loan and the instrument's Operational Bank Organization has a country code = AU (Australia), the system will validate the content and format of the Bank Sort Code against the new BSB code reference table.

Suppress PDF document links during Direct Send Collection transaction processing for Compliance

This option is a drop down. Select one of the below:

·     'Suppress' - Makes it where the Collection Schedule and Bill of Exchange PDFs are not visible to the Corporate Customer until after the Direct Send has been released by the back office system.

·     'Do No Suppress' - Makes it where the Collection Schedule and Bill of Exchange PDFs are visible to the Corporate Customer once the Direct Send has been Authorized and sent to the back office system.

·     'Suppress Permanently' - Will not allow the Collection Schedule and Bill of Exchange PDFs to be visible to the Corporate Customer regardless of the status of the Direct Send Collection instrument in the Portal.

Restrict Corporate Customer Subsidiary Standard Reports to only use the Specific Subsidiaries identified on the Parent's User Profile in the Subsidiary Access capability section.

Selecting yes for this option will have the Report Criteria screen filter the list of corporate subsidiaries to only include those defined in the user profile of the user running the report in addition to the user's own corporate organization.

Suppress Applicant Search Button on Import LC, Standby and Guarantee applications

Selecting the 'Yes Radio Button' will not display Party search magnifying glass for new instrument applications including Guarantee, Standby simple, Standby detailed and Letter of Credit Applications. Selecting the 'No' radio button will cause no changes to existing functionality.

Modified Settlement Instruction Response screens for Import Letter of Credit and Import Collections only.

Selecting the 'Yes radio button' will cause the Customers in the Client Bank to see the simplified settlement request pages. Selecting the 'No' radio button will cause no changes to existing processing.

Use Non-TPS Back Office System Instrument Number

Selecting the ‘Yes radio button’ will cause the Customer in the client Bank to see the new “Portal ID” column for Portal user’s Home page and Transactions screens & Grids. Selecting the ‘No radio button’ will cause no changes to existing processing.

Display Shipping Detail Fields in Direct Send and Export Collection Applications

Selecting the ‘Yes radio button’ will cause the Customer in the client Bank to see the ‘Shipping Details’ options under the ‘Documents presented and Shipment Details’ section for Direct Send Collections & Export Collections. Selecting the ‘No radio button’ will cause no changes to existing processing.

Customer Reference must be unique by Product and Customer Portal Applications (LC,Standby,Guarantee, Export/Direct Collection

Selecting the ‘Yes radio button’ will cause the Customer Reference Number mandatory based on the Customer and the Product combination as below:

       1. It will display as Drawer’s Reference Number in Direct Send and Export Collections.

       2. It will display as Applicant’s Reference Number in Import Letter of Credit and Outward Standby Letter of Credit.

Selecting the ‘No radio button’ will cause no changes to existing processing.

 

Shipping Details Are Required

Selecting the ‘Yes radio button’ will cause the Customer in the client Bank to see the ‘Shipping Details’ options are Mandatory under the ‘Documents presented and Shipment Details’ section for Direct Send Collections & Export Collections.

Selecting the ‘No radio button’ will cause no changes to existing processing.

Disable notification and email for Guarantee and Standby LC Claims and Doc Examinations

When setting is set to 'Yes',the Notification Rule Template and Notification Rule  at customer level setting will default to ‘Never’ for "Send Portal Notification" and "Send Email" and the sections will be protected for Claim and Doc Examination activity of Guarantee and standby LC products. E-mail will not be sent.

Allow Settlement Instructions to be displayed and entered in Instruments

Selecting the ‘Yes radio button’ will cause the Customer in the client Bank to see the ‘Settlement Instruction’ options under the ‘Instructions to Bank’ section for Import LC issuance, Standby LC Issuance (Simple & Detailed), Guarantee, Direct Send Collections & Export Collections. Selecting the ‘No radio button’ will cause no changes to existing processing.

Allow Forward Exchange Contract Details to be displayed and entered in Instruments

Selecting the ‘Yes radio button’ will cause the Customer in the client Bank to see the ‘Forward Exchange Contract Details’ options under the ‘Instructions to Bank’ section for Import LC issuance, Direct Send Collections & Export Collections.

Selecting the ‘No radio button’ will cause no changes to existing processing.

Funding Date Required for Receivables Financing

Selecting the ‘Yes radio button’ will cause the funding date as a mandatory field for Receivables Management in Invoice Definition page.

Selecting the ‘No radio button’ will cause funding date as an optional field in Invoice Definition Page.

Use Entitlement System Id

When the setting is set to "Yes" a new field will be enable on corporate customer  page called "COBRA Division ID".

When this setting is set to "No" a new field called "COBRA Division ID" will be hidden on the corporate customer page.

Enable Password Reset at Login

If you select Yes, Client Bank, Bank Group Admin, and Corporate customers will be able to reset their Forgot password.

If you select No, Client Bank, Bank Group Admin, and Corporate customers will not able to reset their Forgot password. 

Recover Login ID at Login

If you select Yes, Client Bank, Bank Group Admin and Corporate customers will be able to recover their Forgot Login ID.

If you select No, Client Bank, Bank Group Admin, and Corporate customers will not able to recover their Forgot Login ID.

Utilize Client Bank or Bank Group Admin Restricted User Profile Templates

This setting will make available a new "Restricted User Profile Templates" menu option in the "Users and Security" toolbar menu at the Bank Admin Level, which will then be available to be linked to either a Client Bank level or Bank Group level user.

When the setting is set to "Yes":

1. Facilitate the creation/maintenance of Bank Admin Restricted User Profile Templates.

2. Control the presence of two new Restricted User Profile Template fields on the Admin User profile.

Utilize Admin Level Customer Restricted User Profile Templates When selected as "Yes", make available a new "Restricted User Profile Templates" menu option in the "Reference" toolbar menu at the Bank Admin Level.
Utilize Customer Restricted User Profile Templates When selected as "Yes", "Restricted User Template" dropdown appears and will be optional to select a template under Customer Restricted User Profile Template page.
Corporate Customer User/Security Role (Admin vs. Non-Admin) This setting will enable the Corporate Customer User Profile and Corporate Customer Security Profile classification indicator defining whether the user is an admin or non-admin and the profile is an admin or non-admin.
Enable additional validation if Deliver By 'Other' for Standby LC Processing

When the setting is set to "Yes"then the Correspondent Bank/Advising Bank Details section in Standby LC Simple/Detailed instrument page respectively becomes a required field.

When this setting is set to "No" then the Correspondent Bank/Advising Bank Details section in Standby LC Simple/Detailed instrument page respectively is an optional field.

Enable additional validation if Deliver By 'Other' for Guarantee Processing

When the setting is set to "Yes" the Advising Bank Details section in the Guarantee instrument becomes a required field.

When this setting is set to "No" then the Advising Bank Details section in the Guarantee instrument is an optional field.

Enable enhanced Receivables Invoice processing requiring a specific Funding Date for invoice upload and processing

Selecting the 'Yes radio button' will cause the Customers in the Client Bank to see the Modified Receivable Program Utilized option.

Selecting the 'No' radio button will cause no changes to existing processing.

Admin User Authentication (all information in this area is required)

Specify how admin users of this client bank and its bank groups are authenticated

The option you select here determines whether admin users associated with this client bank and its bank groups use passwords, single sign-on, or secure certificates for authentication, or security, of the system. Each option is described below:

·     Certificate- Indicates that users for this client bank must present an electronic security certificate when logging into the system. If this option is selected, the system checks for the presence of a valid security certificate on the workstation of each customer and admin user at login. Each user's certificate ID is entered into the Certificate ID field on either the User (CCH) page (for corporate customer users) or Admin User page (for admin users) when the user's profile is created.

·         2-Factor Authentication (2FA) - Indicates that users for this client bank must use a 2FA One Time Password (OTP) when logging in to the system. If this option is selected, the users belonging to this client bank and bank groups will be configured for 2FA and will be prompted for an OTP after successful password authentication during the login process. This password will be set on the User (CCH) page (for corporate customer users) or Admin Users page (for admin users) when the user’s profile is created.

·         Single sign-on - Indicates that users for this client bank must have a single sign on user ID in order to access the system. Each user's single sign-on ID is entered into the Single Sign-On ID field on either the User (CCH) page (for corporate customer users) or Admin User page (for admin users) when the user's profile is created.

·         Passwords- Indicates that users for this client bank must enter passwords when logging in to the system. If this option is selected, customer and admin users for this client bank must be assigned a password before they can log into the system. The password is specified on either the User (CCH) page (for corporate customer users) or Admin User page (for admin users) when the user's profile is created. If the user's organisation will transition to certificate authentication in the future, a certificate ID can also be assigned to a user on the User or Admin User pages.

      Individual Configuration - This option when selected, allows for Bank Admins to be configured with different authentication methods on the Admin User Profile page.

 

Password settings below are required only if you selected 'Passwords' or 'Individual Configuration' above.

Admin users are authenticated via:

Settings in this area define specific security restrictions for admin user access. The settings are described below.

·         Minimum number of password characters: - Enter a minimum number of characters for passwords created for admin users for this client bank. For example, if you enter 8 in this text area, admin user passwords must be at least 8 characters long. This field can contain up to 2 characters and is required. The maximum value is 32.The value you enter must be greater  than the system-defined minimum displayed in parentheses next to this setting.

·         Maximum number of failed login attempts before the user is disabled: - Enter a maximum number of failed login attempts admin users are allowed before the user's system account is disabled. For example, if you enter 5 in this text area, an admin user's account is disabled with the 6th failed login attempt. This field can contain up to 2 characters and is required.

·         Maximum number of days between password changes: - Enter a number of days after which admin users for this client bank must change their passwords. For example, if you enter 30 in this text area, admin users for this client bank must change their passwords every 30 days. This field can contain up to 2 characters and is required. The value you enter must be lower than the system-defined maximum number of change password days displayed in parentheses next to this setting.

·         Passwords must include upper/lowercase characters and numbers. If this option is selected, passwords for admin users of the client bank must contain at both uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as at least one number.

·         New passwords must be different than the last ____ passwords used - The client bank can require that new passwords for its admin users are different than a specified number of previous passwords. Select this option and enter the number of previous passwords against which new passwords will be validated for uniqueness. This filed can contain up to 2 characters (a maximum value of '99').

 ·     Allow User to reset their password at Login -This will  appear when the setting under Option -4 for Enable Password Reset at Login is set to Yes. Only when the User ticks this box the Client and Bank group admin user will able to reset their password from the login Page. This  will not appear when the setting under Option -4 for Enable Password Reset at Login is set to No.

 ·      Allow User to recover Login ID at login - This will appear when the setting under Option -4 for Recover Login ID at Login  is set to Yes. Only when the User ticks this box the Client and Bank group admin user will able to retrieve their login ID from the Login page. This  will  not appear when the setting under Option -4 for Recover Login ID at Login is set to No.

Corporate User Authentication

 

Corporate customer users are authenticated via:

The option you select here determines whether corporate customer users associated with this client bank use passwords, single sign-on, or secure certificates for authentication, or security, of the system. Each option is described below:

·         Certificate-  Indicates that all corporate customer users for this client bank must present an electronic security certificate when logging into the system. If this option is selected, the system checks for the presence of a valid security certificate on the workstation of each customer and admin user at login. Each user's certificate ID is entered into the Certificate ID field on either the User (CCH) page (for corporate customer users) or Admin User page (for admin users) when the user's profile is created.

·         Specified individually for each Corporate Customer (if selected, the following password details are required) -  Indicates that the use of a certificate or a password for authentication is determined for each corporate customer on the User (CCH) page (for corporate customer users) or Admin User page (for admin users), which accommodate the entry of both a password and a certificate ID. If this option is selected, password options below must be defined.

If corporate customer users of this client bank must enter passwords to login, the users...

·         Passwords must include upper/lowercase characters and numbers. - Selecting this option causes the system to enforce additional rules regarding the composition of passwords. If this option is selected, passwords for corporate customer users of the client bank must contain at both uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as at least one number.

·         New passwords must be different than the last ____ passwords used - The client bank can require that new passwords for its corporate customer users are different than a specified number of previous passwords. Select this option and enter the number of previous passwords against which new passwords will be validated for uniqueness. This filed can contain up to 2 characters (a maximum value of '99').

·       Allow User to reset their password at Login -This will  appear when the setting under Option -4 for Enable Password Reset at Login is set to Yes. Only when the User ticks this box the Corporate user will able to reset their password from the login Page. This  will not appear when the setting under Option -4 for Enable Password Reset at Login is set to No.

·       Allow User to recover Login ID at login - This will appear when the setting under Option -4 for Recover Login ID at Login  is set to Yes. Only when the User ticks this box the Corporate  user will able to retrieve their login ID from the Login page. This  will  not appear when the setting under Option -4 for Recover Login ID at Login is set to No.

Allow Bank Admin and Corporate Users to edit/maintain their own User Profiles, Security Profiles and Threshold Groups

If the check box is unchecked the Bank Admin and corporate users will not be able to edit or maintain their own user profiles, security profiles and threshold groups. If it is checked, then they will be able to edit/maintain their own profiles.

Allow Corporate Users to view/edit the Certificate ID and Security Device ID fields on Corporate User Profile

If the check box is unchecked, users will not be able to view/edit the Certificate ID or Security Device ID Fields on any corporate level User Profiles. If it is checked, then they will be able to view/edit the Certificate ID or Security Device ID Fields on any corporate level User Profiles.

Specify which instruments and transactions for the Client Bank's Corporate Customers require certificate authentication or 2-Factor Token authentication to authorise the transaction to the bank.

Selecting the checkbox under this area indicates that Corporate Customers of this client bank, who wish to create the selected instruments and transactions, will be required to use either certificate authentication or 2-Factor token authentication to authorise the transaction to the bank. Selecting “Yes” indicates that the creation, modification, or deletion of Trading Partner Rule require secondary approval. 

Overall Instrument ID Range

Starts at*

The starting instrument ID (CCH) number for the client bank. This field can contain up to 16 characters and is required.

Ends at*

The ending instrument ID number for the client bank. This field can contain up to 16 characters and is required.

Last Instrument ID Used

The last instrument ID used for this client bank, in read-only form. This field is maintained by the system.

Save

Pressing this button saves the current information in all sections of the Client Bank page.  This button does not display when the page is shown in read-only mode.

Save & Close

Pressing this button saves the current information in all sections of the Client Bank page and returns you to the Client Banks Listing page. This button does not display when the page is shown in read-only mode.

Delete

Pressing this button deletes the currently displayed client bank from the system and returns you to the Client Banks Listing page.  This button does not display when the page is shown in read-only mode.

Close

Pressing this button closes the Client Bank page without saving any information and brings you to the Client Banks Listing.

Document Attach Type Details

Selecting a checkbox under this area allows the bank to define which document types it would like to allow its Client Banks Corporate Customer to attach to a transaction, mail message, settlement instruction or invoice.

Email Notification Details

Trade System Name - The value entered in this field will be the Trade System Name mentioned in the body of the email that will be sent to Client bank admin user who requested for Login ID or Password.
Sender Email Address - The value entered in this field will be the sender email address that will display on the email that will be sent to the Client Bank Admin user who requested for Login ID or Password.
Sender Name - The value entered in this field will be the sender name that will display on the email that will be sent to the Client Bank Admin user who requested for Login ID or Password.
